Chelsea U21 coach Robinson: Players will be ready for Peterborough tonight

Chelsea U21 coach Mark Robinson says they'll be up for tonight's EFL Trophy clash with Peterborough United.

Robinson's men will take on the Posh this evening with a place in the last-16 up for grabs.

"The players are in good spirits after the run of results they have had," the head told chelseafc.com. "It would have been better to have had games leading up to Peterborough rather than just over two weeks off but the players have been working hard to keep themselves sharp and focused.

"We have a few of our usual players missing due to injury and stepping up to the first team but the latter is what it's all about and exactly what you want.

"Peterborough are flying high in League One and play excellent, high-tempo football so it's the great challenge you want for our young players and one I feel like the players are relishing."
