Nigerian youngster Hafiz Umar Ibrahim has earned a trial at a Premier League club.

London giants Chelsea will be giving Ibrahim a chance to prove his worth in the coming weeks.

The 18-year-old, per the Evening Standard, spoke with Raheem Sterling via a video call as well.

He will begin his two-week trial at the Cobham training facility after securing a visa.

Co-director of recruitment and talent Joe Shields believes the youngster is worth pursuing.

The likes of Manchester City have seen what he can do, as he scored against their Under-21s during a youth tournament.
