Chelsea transfers adviser Piet de Visser is sorry to see Ola John struggling at Benfica.
The former FC Twente striker was being followed by Manchester United and Chelsea, but chose to sign Benfica in the summer and is now struggling for minutes.
De Visser saw John as a long-term Chelsea prospect and feels he left the Eredivisie too soon: "At FC Twente he was fantastic, but it was not time to go abroad.
"He has so far received little playing time and at his age he should play every week."
