Chelsea are set to put in a big money bid for Montpellier striker Elye Wahi in the next few days.
The Blues, per French journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, want to ensure Wahi is signed before any other club comes in for his signature.
However, they have a lot of work to do if they are to convince Montpellier to sell.
An offer in the £20 million region has not convinced Montpellier to sell the player as yet.
The bid is around £7 million lower than the French side's asking price for their forward.
Chelsea are not going to bring Wahi into their first team as yet, as he may go straight back out on loan.
