Chelsea are exploring the prospect of tempting Real Madrid star Gareth Bale back to London. Bale joined the Spanish outfit from Tottenham in a deal worth £85million over a year ago, and has helped himself to 28 goals in 58 appearances.
However, the rise of versatile midfielder Isco has seen Bale's place in the first XI come under threat, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez and Luka Modric all automatic starters at the Santiago Bernabeu.
TMW says Chelsea are looking at the availability of the Welshman.
Should Bale be allowed to depart the Champions League holders at the end of the season, Jose Mourinho's Chelsea will be one of the first clubs to offer the 25-year-old a new home.
