Chelsea striker Timo Werner has admitted he had never experienced an injury like his recent hamstring problem.
The German was kept out for five matches with the issue, but bounced back with a goal and assist in the 3-3 draw with Zenit St. Petersburg.
And Werner revealed he has had to work hard to regain fitness after his latest injury.
"Before my injury I felt much better than the week before and I had much more confidence in my movements and my style and how I play," Werner said after the match.
"After injury it was difficult to come back after one month. I never had something like that."
