Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is open to extending his stay with Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan at The Riverside until January after taking in spells at MK Dons and Derby County last season.
"I chose to come here until January because I wanted to keep my options open," said Bamford.
"The way things are going at the moment I'm more than happy to extend the loan if the opportunity arises. I'm loving it here.
"A lot of the training sessions are similar to those at Chelsea, which isn't a surprise given the connection between the managers.
"The tempo and intensity are higher than any other loan club I've been at and it seems to have paid off with my first goal."
