Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford says he's in talks over extending his loan with Middlesbrough.
Bamford has started to make a major impact at the Championship club having scored five goals in the last six games.
The agreement was due to expire in January, but Bamford said: "Things haven't been tied up, the paperwork's not been done.
"But I think it was about just before the Blackburn game last month on a Friday, Eddie Newton (Chelsea's development coach) came up, just to check how everything is, and just to go over my games and welfare.
"Before he arrived I sat down with the gaffer (Aitor Karanka), looked through some of my video clips and told him that I wanted to stay until the end of the season, seeing how I am enjoying life here and to stay would make me happy, so I think they are on the case now pushing it towards Chelsea.
"It's also come out that the manager at Chelsea, (Jose) Mourinho, is really happy with me being here as well. So I think it's just finalising the details now, which shouldn't be hard."
