Chelsea are strengthening their ties with Middlesbrough.
The Daily Star says Blues boss Jose Mourinho has already loaned defender Kenneth Omeruo to Championship club Boro for the next nine months.
Now Aitor Karanka, who was his assistant at Real Madrid, hopes the old pals' act will help him land up to three more of Chelsea's young stars.
Nathaniel Chalobah, who was on loan at the Riverside with Omeruo last season, is one of the targets.
But Mourinho may also consider loaning out George Saville, Patrick Bamford, Nathan Ake and Christian Atsu.
