Chelsea remain the most likely destination for new CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia.
The Ivory Coast ace is joining CSKA from Young Boys of Berne at the end of the season.
However, the News of the World says Doumbia believes he is in the running to join the Stamford Bridge club once he has enough caps to qualify for a work permit.
In the meantime, he will be 'parked' at CSKA Moscow - a team with links to Blues owner Roman Abramovich.
"I like the playing style of the Chelsea team," said Doumbia. "The aura of the club has something powerful."
