Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard hopes to settle his club future before the World Cup.
The Daily Star says the Blues ace may have played his last game for the club, with owner Roman Abramovich wavering over offering him a new deal.
Lampard accepted a dramatically reduced contract for this season, believed to be £55,000 a week, with a £2.5m bonus which would have kicked in if he played 30 league matches, but did not as he appeared in just 26.
He is understood to be desperate to stay at Chelsea and cannot contemplate playing for another Premier League team against the club where he has been for 13 years, being the record goal-scorer with 211 goals.
