Chelsea are watching Benfica winger Nico Gaitan.

A Bola says Chelsea had a scout posted to see Benfica's 5-1 rout of Academica with Gaitan their prime target.

The Argentina international was one of the best players on the pitch and impressed the watching Blues representative.

Gaitan shares the same agent, Jorge Mendes, as Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

He is currently in his fifth season with Benfica, having scored six goals in 35 games.
