Chelsea's Mourinho ecstatic after he 'feeds himself' with another trophy

Jose Mourinho was in a very buoyant mood after guiding Chelsea to another piece of silverware on Sunday.

The Portuguese tactician lifted his first cup since returning to Stamford Bridge as the Blues got the better of London rivals Tottenham 2-0 at Wembley in the Capital One Cup final.

It marked the 10-year anniversary of his very first trophy with Chelsea - the 2005 League Cup - and was his seventh with the west London outfit which has made him yearn for even more success.

"It's difficult for me to live without titles," Mourinho said.

"I need to feed myself with titles. This is important for me and the boys.

"For the club it's one more club, but it's the first one of a new team.

"You have Petr Cech, John Terry, Didier Drogba and, after that, everybody belongs to a new generation of players. So, as a team, very, very important."

Mourinho also suggested that being back on the winners' dais with Chelsea has helped restore some youthful exuberance after two years without a trophy of any kind.

"For me, it's important to feel that I'm a kid. Before the game, that I had the same feelings as my first final however many years ago," he added.

"It's important to feel the same happiness after the victory, and to feel a kid at 52 years old."
