Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard believes it would be a fitting tribute if England could win the World Cup for Bobby Robson.
The former England manager, who passed away last week, took the national team to the semi-finals in Italy 1990 and Lampard would love to honour him by taking out next year's version of the tournament.
"It would be fantastic to go and win the World Cup for Bobby," he said in an interview with fourfourtwo.com.
"For Sir Bobby Robson, he will be remembered forever as the man that he was and the manager that he was for England.
"If we can go one better and get to the final then it would be a great tribute to him and a great achievement for all involved."
