Chelsea's Kalou not bothered by scoring drought

Chelsea's Salomon Kalou insists he is not bothered that all of the club's strikers are experiencing goalscoring droughts.

Kalou has failed to hit the target in his past six matches whilst Nicolas Anelka has scored two in seven, Didier Drigba one in 13, Florent Malouda 1 in 14 and Fernando Torres has not scored in seven appearances since joining from Liverpool.

Despite these statistics, the Blues have won their last three Premier League matches and have put themselves in a with a slight hope of retaining their title.

Kalou says that the scoring droughts are not a problem as other players are stepping up to get the goals at the moment.

"It doesn't matter who scores because, when you are coming back to the top as a team, you have to focus more on the result," he told the club's official website.

"There are some moments when it's the defenders who score and the most important thing is that the team must stick together and win games."
