Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is keen to hear from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. The Mirror says Abramovich has made Barcelona's Pep Guardiola his first choice, but Mourinho is on the short-list to make a dramatic return to the club he managed from 2004-2007.
The Chelsea hierarchy have made enquiries and believe Real Madrid coach Mourinho - who went house -hunting in London last week - would be up for the job.
Abramovich and Chelsea are anxious to see whether the Mourinho camp are genuinely interested, or whether he is using the Stamford Bridge vacancy to strengthen his hand in Madrid.
