Galatasaray were ready to buy Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko last month.
Chelsea chiefs blocked a potential sale of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to Galatasaray or PSG before the window closed on Monday night, says the Daily Express.
Instead, he returned to Monaco on a season-long loan deal, having left them for £40million two years ago.
The French side will have the option to buy Bakayoko at the end of the loan spell for £38m, meaning Chelsea will only make a minimal loss on the deal.
And that is part of the reason as to why Chelsea refused to let him go to either Galatasaray or PSG.
