Former Spain coach Luis Enrique is a target for Chelsea, it has been revealed.

Now a free agent after being axed by the Spanish Federation following a disappointing World Cup, Enrique has stated he's ready to return to club football.

El Chiringuito says the former Barcelona coach is wanted by Chelsea's new owners.

Despite sacking Thomas Tuchel and replacing him with Graham Potter this season, Chelsea are said to be drawing up a contract offer for Enrique.

Chelsea plan to offer Enrique a three-year contract worth €12 million net per season. The parties began talks before the World Cup.

For his part, Potter has a deal with Chelsea to 2027.
