Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is willing to listen to offers for goalkeeper Petr Cech. The Daily Star says Mourinho is now ready to give Thibaut Courtois his chance to impress at Chelsea having seen the 21-year-old develop into one of the finest goalkeepers in world football at Atletico Madrid.
According to reports in Spain, the Chelsea boss has made long-standing No.1 Cech available for transfer as he looks to fast-track Courtois.
Cech joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004 and for the past decade has been a mainstay between the sticks, despite playing under eight different managers.
The exit of the 32-year-old would represent another departure of the Chelsea 'old guard', with veterans Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard released by the club following the expiry of their contracts.
