Chelsea have made an amazing £1 million bid for Crystal Palace's 15 year-old whizkid John Bostock.

The People says Bostock, who was 15 years and 287 days when he turned out as a second-half sub for the Eagles against Watford on Tuesday, was the subject of a £1million Blues bid on Wednesday morning.

New Palace boss Neil Warnock was quick to dismiss the offer and slapped a £5m price on his head for starters more than double the £2m Harry Redknapp offered later in the week.
