Chelsea players want Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers to return to Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Star says Rodgers was appointed youth-team coach by Jose Mourinho in 2004 and moved up to reserve-team boss in 2006.

The Irishman was popular with John Terry and Lampard and any move to bring him back would be welcomed by the pair.
