Chelsea will make a new bid for Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric this summer.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea's billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich has pinpointed four key roles - a centre forward, two full backs and an attacking midfielder - as the priorities for a summer spending spree.

A fresh bid to sign Tottenham's Modric will be one of the options.
