Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready for a long summer of tough negotiations for their transfer targets.
The Daily Express says Chelsea have made informal enquiries to Liverpool about Fernando Torres but Abramovich and his advisors feel £70 million is too high for a player who has had injury problems.
Similarly, Chelsea are unwilling at the moment to pay the £40m-plus Atletico Madrid are asking for Argentine striker Sergio Aguero, or the £50m AC Milan want for Brazilian Alexandre Pato.
