Chelsea are opening contract talks with Toni Rudiger.
Sky Sports says Rudiger's representatives are now sitting down and listening to the best offer Chelsea can place on the table.
The defender is also available to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January 2021, with Real Madrid and PSG both interested in his services.
Rudiger first joined Chelsea from Italian giants Roma in 2017 and has played 153 games for the Blues across all competitions.
Both Tottenham and West Ham have previously been linked with the German, who has on past occasions stressed his love for London and its city.
Rudiger has made 153 appearances for Chelsea since joining from Roma in July 2017, winning the Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup and FA Cup.
