Chelsea have commenced talks with Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, according to reports.
The Guardian is of the belief that the Blues have discussed terms with the 31-year-old who is set to leave the Ligue 1 club this summer.
Mandanda is believed to be keen on trying his luck in the Premier League but would only come to Stamford Bridge as a back-up for Thibaut Courtois.
The potential arrival of the France international would see Chelsea sell Asmir Begovic, who only arrived from Stoke City last summer.
Everton have previously shown interest in Mandanda but could now be after Newcastle United's Tim Krul while Crystal Palace have been credited with an interest in Begovic.
