Demba Ba insists he has arrived at Chelsea with plans to become the number one striker.
The Senegal international scored two goals on debut for the Blues following his £7million move from Newcastle United in the FA Cup victory over Southampton on the weekend and is now eyeing a regular starting berth for the European champions.
He also spoke of how much former Chelsea star Didier Drogba has helped inspire him.
"Every time I arrive at a club, it's always as the second attacker. But every time, through hard work, I impose myself," he told Le Parisien.
"We're two different players but I appreciate Didier enormously. It's difficult to compare oneself to him in view of how much he achieved at Chelsea.
"He has greatly inspired me throughout my career but I know my own qualities."
