Chelsea midfielder Fabregas snubs Chinese Super League

Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has rejected a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League, according to reports from Marca.

Fabregas has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Chelsea starting lineup during the current campaign and it is widely expected that the Spanish international will be leaving Stamford Bridge during the upcoming January transfer window.

Despite his struggles this season, Fabregas is wanted by a host of clubs and recently, claims had been made that a few Chinese Super League outfits were interested in the 29-year-old.

Now in an update to the story, Spanish outlet Marca have gone on to claim that Fabregas did receive a whopping £26million-per-year deal from China but the Chelsea man has gone on to reject it in order to continue playing at the highest level.
