Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is hoping to sign Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio, according to Transfer Market Web.

Conte worked with Marchisio for three years at Juve, and he is hopeful that his personal plea could convince the Italy international to join the Blues. Besides Chelsea, Manchester Unitd are also keeping tabs on the experienced midfielder.

The 31-year-old has spent his entire playing career at the Turin club and still has three years left on his current deal.
