Chelsea, Man Utd target Clyne targets Champions League football, titles with Southampton

Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne has revealed that he wants to play Champions League and win titles at club level.

24-year old Clyne is in the last year of his contract with the Saints and has been linked with a number of clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal but is determined to play top quality football on the south coast.

Clyne said: "I see myself hopefully playing in the Champions League and competing for titles and trophies. That's what I'm aiming for.

"I'm definitely ambitious. Every player would love to be playing Champions League and winning trophies and titles. That's what you play football for, that's the dream.

"I would say that's the next step in my progression. I need experience playing European football. Right now I'm just concentrating on Southampton, concentrating on getting to the fourth place."
