Chelsea and Manchester City are waiting for the green light from Napoli to open the bidding for striker Edinson Cavani.
With Roberto di Matteo now installed as manager, Chelsea will again focus on bringing in a top line striker and have their sights set on Cavani.
"I'm happy in Naples," argued Cavani yesterday. "But you never know ..."
City boss Roberto Mancini is also eager to land the Uruguay international, should he find a buyer for Edin Dzeko. Di Matteo sees the centre-forward as a potential replacement for the departed Didier Drogba.
