Chelsea have made a move for Porto fullback Alvaro Pereira.

The Uruguay international is a major target for Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas and Lisbon sources say a bid has been lodged.

No terms have been mentioned, however, Porto are understood to be prepared to sell Pereira for €25 million.
