Chelsea are making an aggressive push for Real Betis sensation Assane Diao.

The teen has already established himself as a first-choice under coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Estadio Deportivo says Chelsea have made their move, opening talks with Diao and his family.

His agent has also been involved in the preliminary talks.

The youngster has burst onto the scene this year, scoring an impressive six goals already this season at just 18 years of age.

Diao's contract carries a €30m buyout clause and Betis are now pushing his agents to open talks about a new deal which would see his buyout clause increased.
