Chelsea are locked in talks with AS Roma for Mattia Destro. Blues boss Jose Mourinho has made it clear if Fernando Torres is to leave for AC Milan, he wants a replacement to arrive before Monday's deadline.
Destro is his priority, with the Italy international refusing to rule out a move abroad last week.
The striker's agent, Claudio Vigorelli, admits Chelsea are in contact about a late move.
"I cannot deny that he (Destro) is at the centre of some important situations that could develop. Closer to Milan or Chelsea? The market is unpredictable. These are the two clubs interested.
"José Mourinho admires him, while Milan could make some important steps very soon."
