Chelsea and Liverpool are battling German clubs for FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong.

BILD says the Premier League giants are competing with Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Schalke for the Holland international centre-forward.

Dortmund want De Jong as a replacement for Lucas Barrios, who is moving to China.

However, De Jong is said to favour a move to England, where Twente coach Steve McClaren has told him his game is best suited.
