Chelsea and Liverpool are keen to bring Manchester City defender Micah Richards back to England.

Richards, off contract in June, is currently on-loan with Fiorentina.

The Daily Express says Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is apparently keeping tabs on Richards' situation after completing a loan deal for Arsenal's Lukas Podolski , but it appears that Chelsea and Liverpool are in the driving seat for the right-back's signature.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to add another English player to his squad, whilst Brendan Rodgers is making preparations for Glen Johnson's expected departure this summer.
