Chelsea lining up move for Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi

Chelsea are lining up a move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

Chelsea are ready to launch a move for Ndidi as Real Madrid step up their interest in Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The 29-year-old, who won back-to-back leagues titles with Leicester in 2016 and Chelsea in 2017, has struggled with injuries this season and could miss the rest of the campaign due to fears over the coronavirus pandemic.

Zinedine Zidane is apparently a fan of the World Cup winner and if the Real Madrid boss makes an approach for Kante, the Leicester Mercury suggests Wilfried Ndidi could replace him at Stamford Bridge.

Ndidi is said to be valued at £40m by the Foxes, an affordable amount for Chelsea who would surely pick up a higher fee for Kante if the tireless midfielder is sold.
