Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is being considered for the Derby County job.
The Sun says Lampard is set to make his first move into management and was strongly linked with Ipswich Town.
Now Lampard, 39, is being hotly-tipped to replace Gary Rowett who moved to Stoke City on Tuesday.
Derby chairman Mel Morris is pals with Harry Redknapp - Lampard's uncle - who spent time as a football advisor at Pride Park two years ago.
But the Rams' job is likely to be a tough task next season despite them reaching the Championship play-offs this month.
The new Derby manager will be asked to slash wages with no major funds available for new players.
