Chelsea are ready to make a swap bid for Brighton fullback Marc Cucurella.

The Blues are willing to include young defender Levi Colwill in a player-plush-cash deal, says the Evening Standard.

Manchester City have been heavily linked with the Spaniard but are claimed to have given up on their chase after Brighton stuck to their guns and demanded £50million.

Now Chelsea have enquired about signing the left-back.

The Blues are claimed to be in discussions with the south coast side about including 19-year-old Colwill as part of the deal.
