Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has suffered a new injury setback.

The Senegal international has broken a finger to leave him on the sidelines further.

Mendy has missed the past four matches for Chelsea due to a shoulder injury.

But now he will undergo surgery to fix his finger fracture.
