Jose Mourinho was confident of his Chelsea sides chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The Blues bounced back from their Matchday 1 defeat at home to FC Basel by beating Steaua Bucharest 4-0 in Romania on Tuesday night.
A goal either side of half-time from Ramires as well as a first-half Daniel Georgievski own-goal and a late effort from Frank Lampard allowed Chelsea to move to second spot on the Group E table which has their European campaign back on track.
"I think we are going to qualify," Mourinho told Sky Sports. "Today's result is important because if we don't win we are under pressure.
"We have to control the situation and make points against Schalke and then beat Basel and Steaua."
Mourinho added: "The result is very good. The points and the goals also.
"From the first minute it was very good. From the first minute we kept control of the game. We played good football with intelligence and maturity.
"We needed to clean what we did at home (against Basel) and we did it with a good result and performance.
"Now we are not in a dramatic situation, we are in a close situation."
