Chelsea legend Eidur Gudjohnsen was not impressed with the antics of Ross Barkley in their 1-0 Champions League loss against Valencia.
The Blues were undone in the first game of the group stages on Tuesday night, suffering a tough loss at home in Frank Lampard's first Champions League test as manager.
Barkley had a chance to get a goal for the Blues, but he missed a penalty after an altercation with teammates Jorginho and Willian, who are regular penalty takers at the club.
"It's almost disrespectful to your team-mates to do something like what Ross Barkley did this evening," Gudjohnsen said on BT Sport.
"I'm pretty sure it's clear who is the penalty taker before the game.
"Just to create all the fuss, the tension between your team-mates and yourself and then go on to miss the penalty, you just put yourself under so much more pressure than actually just taking a penalty."
