Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa: Normal for Todd to visit dressing room

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga admits there is a tough atmosphere within the club at present.

The Blues were once again beaten in the Premier League over the weekend.

After losing to Brighton and remaining on a winless run under caretaker manager Frank Lampard, Kepa was asked about a media report that co-owner Todd Boehly had called the team's performance embarrassing.

Kepa stated: “Hopefully tomorrow we can involve all the fans and make the different atmosphere that we need in this game to go through. We've got to go step by step and do the right things from the beginning.

“Todd came to the changing rooms, every game, he had a different chat with us. I'm not going to say what he said but it's normal when he came to the changing room."

Asked about his relationship with the fans, he added: “This is obviously a question for the fans. The fans can have different opinions about different players. What I can do is deliver my best, work every day. Try to perform in the best way. This is my job, this is what I am doing in the last five years. I try to do my best for Chelsea to win games, to win trophies and to be successful

“It's my home for five years now. I'm very happy here. I am enjoying this journey in the last few years."
