Marcos Alonso has named former Chelsea winger Damian Duff as his toughest Premier League opponent.

The Spaniard lined-up against the tricky Irishman whilst playing for Bolton, with Duff representing Fulham.

Quizzed on who was the toughest opponent he's faced is during an Instagram Q&A, Alonso responded: "For this one I would have to go back to my first few games in the Premier League with Bolton.

"I remember having a bad game playing against Damien Duff at Fulham."
