Chelsea forward Abraham feeling confident ahead of new season

Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is positive going into the new Premier League season.

The striker was out of favour under German coach Thomas Tuchel during the second half of last term, when the club won the Champions League and reached the FA Cup final.

Abraham, who has been linked with Arsenal and West Ham United, is in good spirits as the new season fast approaches.

The English forward netted the winner for Chelsea in a 2-1 friendly win over Arsenal on Sunday.

He is quoted by the club website as saying: "We've been working on the press all pre-season, and it paid off for the second goal.

"[We] have been working hard in training. It's for the best because we are all ready for the season.

"We will take our time, we still have a couple more sessions to come, and we still have players coming back, so we're bonding, and I am sure we will get there."
