Chelsea are eyeing West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.

The People says if John Terry calls time on his Chelsea career, the Blues will seek to replace him with England defender Upson, who would cost £15m.

Upson, who has also been courted by City and Aston Villa, recently put his Essex home up for sale - sparking rumours he was on his way out of Upton Park.
