Chelsea have extended the contract of Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The midfielder's deal runs to 2022 and Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio reports Chelsea have triggered a 12 month option in the agreement.

As such, Bakayoko will be tied to Chelsea until 2023, with the decision a sure sign he will be on the move in the coming days.

A loan return to AC Milan has been mooted for the Frenchman, who spent last season with Napoli.

Bakayoko has completed a full preseason back in London with Chelsea.
