Chelsea's record this season is their worst in over six years.
Yesterday's defeat is the first time Chelsea have lost seven league games in a season since Claudio Ranieri was sacked in 2004.
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti said: "Obviously we could play better as a team but the shape was good. But when you don't play quickly from the back, you have difficulty playing well up front.
"We have bought two fantastic players this week in Torres and David Luiz. They will be the future of this club."
