Chelsea defender Patrick van Aanholt will remain on loan with Vitesse Arnhem.
The 21-year old full-back spent the second half of last season with the Dutch club and will now return for the 2012/13 Eredivisie campaign.
van Aanholt joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven's youth academy in 2007 but has failed to force his way into the Blues first team and has since had loan spells with Coventry City, Newcastle United, Leicester City and Wigan Athletic.
He will stay put with Vitesse after making nine league appearances last term as he continues his development in a first team environment.
