Tomas Kalas is happy with his situation at Chelsea.

The 19 year-old Czech Republic defender is on-loan at Vitesse Arnhem and tied to Chelsea until 2017.

He told Voetbal International: "I realize that it is difficult for a young defender to at Chelsea to breakthrough. Good examples include Sam Hutchinson, Jeffrey Bruma, Slobodan Rajkovic and Patrick van Aanholt. That's why I was pleased with the interest of Vitesse.

"When I joined Chelsea in 2010, I knew the situation. I'm happy with how things are going."
