Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has had a pop at former club PSG.

Thiago insists PSG's mega spending won't bring them the success they're seeking.

He told AS: "You won't get everything just because you have a lot of money, football doesn't work like that.

"If you don't have a clear plan on what you want, things won't go well."

Thiago added: "First of all you have to be respected in your country (France) to be respected abroad and we didn't do this. We did the opposite because we wanted to be loved abroad, but we have done nothing to be respected at home."
